PC Security is a very important topic and there are a few simple steps to ensure that your PC doesn’t become a victim.

Firstly and most importantly you as a computer user should be careful when using the internet especially when deciding what files are safe to download.

Secondly the use of a good anti-virus program such as AVG which is free for non-commercial use and is just as good if not better than its heavily advertised rivals. Ensure that you have only one anti-virus program installed to avoid problems of conflict. Running a full computer scan once a week should be enough.

Thirdly the use of anti-spyware software will stop problems of adware and spyware. Unlike antivirus software you can use a couple of anti-spyware programs like Windows Defender and Spybot.
